Oh, deer
soo..we hit a deer. Actually, the deer hit us. We all noticed the two deer on the left side of us, just standing on the road, when suddenly one of them started running towards us. It hit the car, flew over us, and bounced on the road. The car that passed us and saw this happen instantly turned around, got out of the car, and shot the deer to put it out of its misery. They came over to check on us, and we are very fortunate because the damage was minimal compared to the amount of damage a deer can cause. The car is hurt, but everyone else is OK. Thank you, Jesus.

ReplyDeleteAhh! That's crazy. I'm just visualizing a burly mountain man in flannel hopping out of his truck and walking up to the deer with a rifle over his shoulder and tobacco in his cheek. I'm glad you're all okay. My dad almost hit a deer on our way east.
